What is a perpetual calendar?
Most calendars are useful for a limited time as they typically represent one full year and mark which day of the week a particular date is. A perpetual calendar is designed to commemorate annually occurring events and anniversaries by giving you two spaces for each calendar date to write in the people and things you want to remember most.
Bell in Colour is a series of watercolours that celebrate the lives of Mabel and Alexander Graham Bell at Beinn Bhreagh, Nova Scotia. A rich historical collection of black and white photographs and artifacts were the inspiration for these watercolours. A very small selection of these were used to tell the story that has often been told. Kellough wanted to emphasize the special and close relationship, the mutual respect and the love between Alexander Bell and his wife, Mabel, whose influence and guidance was instrumental to the many successes in Dr. Bell’s life.
